Who we are

Guernier Architecture is a Sydney-based architecture and industrial design studio with a diverse portfolio of completed projects across Australia and internationally. We pride ourselves on close collaboration with clients to deliver award-winning design solutions that respond intelligently to the unique social, environmental, and economic context of each development.

Our expertise spans a wide range of scales and building typologies, with a particular focus on strategic partnerships with larger practices. This collaborative model enables us to provide design leadership on complex, large-scale projects that often exceed the typical scope of a smaller studio.

At the core of our practice is a commitment to a craft-based design methodology. We prioritise elegance and simplicity over rhetoric and abstraction, producing refined architectural solutions that sensitively integrate programmatic needs with the specific character of each site.

In addition to architecture, our capabilities extend to industrial design, where we have developed particular expertise in the design and delivery of advanced façade systems.

Guernier Architecture draws on the extensive international experience of Director Adam Guernier and the studio’s senior team, whose collective work includes the design and delivery of significant, award-winning projects across a broad spectrum of building types and scales.
